Mcgazzapalooza: Saturday, March 19th, 2016
Hello, friends of Kelly near and far. On Saturday, March 19th is Mcgazzapalooza, a festival of all things Kelly, happening in Bellingham, Washington. Everyone is invited to join in on the festivities. Starting at 2pm, we'll pedal to the top of one of Bellingham's best trails with stunning views of the Puget Sound. It's a super fun downhill all the way back to the parking lot. Afterwards we'll reconvene for the real party at Kulshan Brewery for a night of Kelly's favorite music, never before seen Mcgazza footage, a silent auction and raffle of some amazing prizes, including a chance to bid on a full DH rig for the upcoming season.

We know Kelly's main home was in New Zealand but he spent a ton of time in the Pacific Northwest from Seattle all the way up to Whistler. Bellingham is an easy, central location with world class riding and an incredible bike community that is excited to host Kelly's friends. Whether you met him once, knew him well, or only saw him in photos and video, Kelly's legacy is something that is worth passing on and we encourage and all to come celebrate. We're not looking to be somber; we're looking to laugh, remember, and push him forward in the best way possible.
We'll have a raffle that includes photos by some of biking's best photographers, frames from Evil Bikes and Transition Bikes, a rack from Yakima, parts from Gravity and even more goodies. There will be food, Kelly's favorite music, videos, and the opportunity to tell your most hilarious or awesome Mcgazza stories.
Prior to the party, we'll get together for a big ride on some of Bellingham's best trails. We will meet at the bottom of Fragrance Lake Road in the [L=https://www.google.com/maps/dir/48.6474724,-122.4865522/48.6474184,-122.4866531/@48.6475499,-122.4868882,16z/data=!4m2!4m1!3e2]Clayton Beach Parking[/L] lot to pedal to the top of Chuckanut Mountain and ride Double Black and Double Down. These trails are in the dark blue square area for technicality.
We encourage everyone to come in for the day and stay for the night. We'll help find couches and yards for you! Bring a sleeping bag, your bike, and your sense of humor. This is about fun, life, bikes, and Kelly.

Would love to go, sounds like an awesome way to remember Kelly, he was one of the coolest and nicest guys I ever met. But sadly its in the states where the CAD dollar sucks and can't join the night festivities due to being 20.
