The 'LAUNCHPAD' is ready! Official opening 31st October. The UK’s first dedicated gravity biking trail. A downhill mountain bike trail designed for 4 wheels as well as 2! Funded by The Gloucestershire Environmental Trust and the Forestry Commission. Built by Architrail and supported by Pedalabikeaway and the DTV.

 So proud to be a UK rider right now, what with the talent coming through and now pushing boundaries further with projects like this. FOD is awesome, and it just got better - for all the right reasons!

 Saw somewhere the other day that corkscrew was being closed as a quad/ATV track was being built, any chance there was some confusion between quad and 4 wheeler and this is the actual reason?

 Yeah the bottom of corkscrew is closed at the moment to stop people going down onto this track, it should be reopened once this opens on the 31st, but I do know they are talking about making further changes. If you have any questions head to Facebook Dean Trail Volunteers (group) and I'm sure the guys will let you know what's going on Smile

 Is there anywhere to donate to such a sick cause whether it goes to the upkeep of their wheel chairs or the upkeep of the trails I would deffinatly be interested in helping such a rad idea
