Piper Down is the best name for a trail ever and is a purpose built downhill-only mountain bike trail in Smithers BC. It is 575m vertical over 4km distance. It is accessible off the Hudson Bay Mountain road as a shuttle or pedal up. The signature move on the trail is a gap jump over a downed "Piper" aircraft crash site

Pay Dirt is another purpose built mountain bike trail in Smithers BC built with a combination of grant-funding and volunteer hours. It is very much a downhill-only trail & joins the classic "Piper Down" trail on its lower section. I counted 82 tabletop jumps and 67 berms! Total vertical is 490m over 4.2km (+/- variance for airtime)

The trail commences crossing Cronin Road Park Trail thence a 1850m alpine pass known as Hyland Pass thence travelling down Silver King Trail out to Driftwood Road Parking Lot.
