Each year, the bike park candidates wait in suspense for the announcement of the UCI Mountain Bike Downhill and Cross Country World Cup stops. It is now confirmed that the 2015 UCI Downhill World Cup will be stopping in Saalfelden Leogang (AUT) as well as Lourdes (FRA), Nove Mesto (CZE), Albstadt (GER), Fort William (GBR), Lenzerheide (SUI), Mont-Sainte-Anne (CAN), Windham (USA) and Val di Sole (ITA).

Bikepark Leogang will welcome the downhill racers on June 13th and 14th 2015. The new addition to the calendar, Lourdes will also host a downhill stop as well as the famous Fort William track in Scotland. Alongside the Downhill races, Cross Country battles will take place in Lenzerheide, Mont-Saint-Anne, Windham and Val Di Sole. Individual XCO races will be held in Albstadt and Nove Mesto.

Kornel Grundner, head of the Bikepark Leogang, is really excited with the UCI’s decision: "We are honored that the UCI has shown us its confidence for the fifth time. Preparations are already underway as of now, and we will do everything possible to build on the success of the past years."
