Exclusive Ride Report: FOX Live Valve Active Suspension System
Great. Now the bike industry can justify trying to sell us $15000 bikes. $10000 bikes are so last year. At the end of the day it can't pedal itself (they're working on that now) and it won't make a crap rider any less crap.

Superstar Components AM Carbon Wheelset - Review
I hate to be picky but it's time wheelmakers understand that tubeless ready means TUBELESS READY, not once you remove the standard strip and put tape in. I'm sorry but these are NOT tubeless ready at all! It's like saying raw chicken is ready to eat, but after you cook it. Rant over.

Opinion: Numerology and the Demise of Eleven Speed
What a load of rubbish. If you chuck a live frog in boiling water, it dies. It doesn't jump out and run away. Besides frogs don't run, they hop. How about doing some research. Well that's all I got from the article because the rest was shit.

SRAM Guide RS Brake - Review
It's like this. I've had three sets of Avoid brakes and they have all been shit. I've had two sets of Shimano brakes which have been flawless. Sram, Avid, whatever you want to call them (same shit, different Nut content) need to pull a rabbit out of the bag because my story is not unique by any stretch. Thrice bitten. Why would I go back to Avid/Sram? People will say don't knock it until you've tried it, but why would I even do that? If you had three burritos from the same chain that all made you spew, would you give them another try just because they changed their name and you'd since found Japanese agrees with you anyway? My XT brakes take mineral oil, don't gobble like a freaking Turkey if the humidity goes above 25% and don't fade. Just saying.

Movies For Your Monday
I know some folk on here are only interested if it's free ride or whatever. For me I'm stoked by all riding and just loved the Cyclocross video because it shows people loving riding. Get out there.

Pinkbike Poll: Words and Photos vs Video
I can watch video on the bus or at home, but only the photos and words are accessible at work... I need both.

Yeti SB5c - Review
As an engineer I love all this stuff but as a realist I ask does it really make any difference. Lots of very fast and great handling motor bikes make do with a simple single pivot swing arm.. If pedaling is your thing then there is vpp in its many forms. To me this looks like a maintenance pain in the proverbial. Hooking mud and mulch out of the handy storage box. Meh. I can't afford it anyway!
