My sick new ride. 2016 Scott Genius 710

After 3 years of riding my 2012 Scott Genius I finally made the plunge to upgrade to the all new 2016 Scott Genius 710. I really had my heart set on the 700 tuned model but the price tag on it was just too much for me. My initial goal was to get a 2015 model at a discounted price but my dumbass didn't realize they would all be sold out!

Ugh.

Still, I'm quite happy with the 710 model and made a few slight upgrades. Especially swapping out the 2x11 for a 1x11. Also adding the lighter Easton Haven 35 Carbon handlebars.

Very proud of my new bike and come next spring I should be ready to take it for a spin on the trails. Not because I don't ride during the fall/winter but because I can't. I just had 2 shoulder surgeries due to a nasty crash at my local bike park. All good I'll be back in good time.
