I'm a "downhiller on a trailbike" I guess. I don't pedal up much anymore since I discovered lifts.

I have a B.S. in Physics and hope to become a suspension engineer up in the Seattle area by the end of 2015...Hire me!

Fun fact: Cam Zink is my neighbor!

Giro Switchblade Helmet - First Look: Crankworx Whistler 2016
I have 2 cents to give here. Just got my Switchblade yesterday. First impressions are very good (comfort, quality, certifications) but it's worth mentioning that I do not see it replacing my primary DH lid (TLD D3 Carbon). The face opening just seems a bit too wide for me to be really comfortable with it for all-out DH use. No worries though. I did not buy this to replace my DH lid, but had originally kept that a possibility. Original purpose for buying this was to own the safest trail helmet on the market. The large covering area, certifications, and fit make me confident that this will protect me better than just about anything else out there. Highly recommended for those with high regard for full time safety.

Leatt Convertible Full Face Helmet - Crankworx Whistler 2016
@Nahguavkire: yep. As an enthusiast of dh and enduro motorcycling, I sometimes consider using my dh helmet for riding woods singletrack on the motorbike. It would certainly be better for most crashes since the speeds and terrain are actually pretty comparable to dh...huh...I need to look into whether or not moto helmets are one discipline fits all...cause I don't think a helmet that's designed for high speed impacts and huge jumps would do me much good in the slow woods. I guess helmets of the future will probably have a dynamic system that is adaptive to the conditions of the impact and be the ducks nuts for all crashes.

Northstar Bike Park: Early Summer Riding - Park Update
Northstar is just about the most fun I've had on two wheels. Nothing like miles of descending all day long without having to pedal to the top!

MUST WATCH: Brandon Semenuk - Utah Overshoot
Shuwukong meant he's a new species I think. Not a fellow a homo sapiens, but something entirely different. The next descendant of my old friends australopithacus afarensis and sahelanthropus tchaedensis.
