Mavic Saved by Bourellier Group, Focus to Return to Wheels
@Euskafreez: Groupe Sportif are actually alright to deal with, unlike Dirt Jerks.

Mavic Saved by Bourellier Group, Focus to Return to Wheels
Last pair of wheels I bought were Mavic Allroad Pro UST Disc for my Lynskey gravel bike, claimed weight of 1610g for AU$1500 is decent value, imo. Always wanted some factory Mavic wheels, can confirm they're super smooth rollers, and look dope. To my mind, the Mavic brand is synonymous with professional cycling, carries a great deal of prestige.

2017 Orange Five and Alpine 160 - First Look
Yeah, good looking bike, reminds me of the first gen Superlight, but also looks flexy as hell.

@vinay: @vinay: "I don't consider more pivots and the use of carbon something that adds so much more value to a frame." Apart from the fact carbon frames employing linkage designs, such as VPP, are much more plush, efficient, light and stiff, ie. dialled, I totally agree... Doh!

Sure they work, the Heckler works fine, as does the Foes FXR. The argument isn't that they merely 'work', it's that multi-link designs, such as VPP, work a hell of a lot better, both up and down the mountain.

"local bike shop salesmen trying to pedal these things as what consumers should buy are just a bunch of wankers" Lol, good to see the term 'wanker' has penetrated the US vocab.

Megavalanche 2016 - Race Day
What, there's no Canadian getting special attention? I thought that's what Pink Bike did now, support local talent at the expense of true champions?

Drama in Nove Mesto: Men U23 and Women Elite - 2016 XCO World Championships
@ajayflex: Couldn't agree more bud, stupid Yanks (or Canadians, same diff) using the World Cup to promote their own, riding on Annika's coat tails, it's disgusting.

First Look: Intense ACV 27.5+ Trail Bike
Had a '96 M2 Stumpy back in the day, had a really long top tube, slapped on some White Bros triple clamps and Azonic Shorty stem, ghetto 'Forward Geometry' 20 years ago. Stuck some fat Nokian (or Tioga Factory) tyres on the Rhyno Lite rims, and had a 27.5+ wheelset... Alls I'm saying is, none of this shit is new.
