MUST WATCH Video: Danny MacAskill on the Edge of Cliffs
really nice video although there was far too much "bling" for my liking - ENVE and SC just didn't suit you Danny - you looked way more at home on the old Orange stuff - also, as i was watching i kept thinking that he should have ridden this with Chris Akrigg as this is much more Akrigg territory and would have made a great video to see them both on that journey

Video: Ten Rider Downhill Race - Pinnacle Champs Helmet Cam
yes, they are riding fast and its gonna be sketchy coming down a hill fast - but it was not what was promoted in ANY way, and its difficult to get past that congrats to those that took part, regardless of expectations its still gnarly - its a start so maybe they can learn from this and run with it

Road to Rampage Episode 4 - Weathering the Storm
those FEST jumps are just next level - amazing stuff and so glad these guys have found a home for their style of riding as they did not fit into the current FMB tour, FMB = slopestyle, FEST = freestyle - simple really, both are excellent disciplines, but gotta give it to the FEST guys for sheer air time, they is just floatin` free :)

Video: Martin Söderström's Home Town Big Air is Coming
nice - cute vid too - i like these slope events that are slap bang in the middle of cities and towns and let people see what these guys can do, they deserve some applause also good to see Matt Jones back in competitions, hope he is healing well and the only GB rider there- no Reynolds though which is odd, we can normally count on him to fly the flag, and I think we have written Pilgrim off for this year so i aint even bothering asking where the heck he is

Results: 2014 World Championships, Hafjell - Vergier Takes Junior DH Seeding
lining up to be good race with some really well matched young guys there but - we really need to do something about the women - thats Junior lineup for the girls is pretty pathetic, i hope there are more out there that just cant afford to play here, but either way there is a definite drout in the up an coming girls category, plenty of junior men though

Madison Saracen Factory Race Team - National Championships : Innerleithen
The lack of publicity on the normal outlets is near criminal - especially when we have world class podium talent here - i mean we even have a prime time cycle tv show on terrestrial TV and not a mention of this going down at all (although its a massive JOKE of a show !!!! - watch it - i dare you ITV 4) - i am not expecting LIVE broadcast or anything but something .. anything would have been nice congrats to all that took part and you deserve more coverage and praise than you are given -

Pinkbike Poll: Do You Feel Influenced by the Pros?
To me, alot of the time its about keeping your name/brand alive and in peoples minds, its not about looking at the latest winner of an event and suddenly going and purchasing the tires they used or the frame etc - brands have to keep a public profile and be seen to support riders as its proof that they make good gear (well, it should be proof but smokes and mirrors ... ) As for Coke OMFG - every ad they have ever done has turned me off more and more and more, Coke - how the FCUK did that ever take off, its one .. THE most disgusting things on the damn planet, nearly as bad as they cheesy ass adverts. Just to prove my wonderful naivety - i only found all this action sport stuff recently and didn't even know that Red Bull and Monster etc were DRINKS, i just thought they were something to do with events management or a club/organization (as they were plastered everywhere) like UCI etc - i have since tried a red bull and as far as i care they can join coke in the "no one should have to ever suffer this crap" department - which is a shame as i do want to support the work they do, just not through that crap - films and stuff maybe, not drinks!
