GoPro Contest - Who Won the $20,000?
I sure not, but as the vid had to be one shot it had to stay in, and if you watch his making of vids you will see that this thing took alot of work to get it all in one take, plus I like the fall, it adds a little to his storyline

GoPro Spherical: Danny MacAskill - Cascadia in Virtual Reality
not the best 360 video around, i was expecting alot more from that - I like the 360 stuff, I am sure headsets make it better experience, either way its pretty awesome tech and certainly adds new dimensions but it has to be used wisely and not for gimmicks sake

Pinkbike Poll: Which Events are you Most Looking Forward to in 2016?
All of them apart from XC, not doing the XC guys down but just does not grab me, in breakdown DH - not enough stops, too long between races but fast, exciting and well covered in terms of live events and team vlogs etc Enduro: actually I lied, dont follow this as much, I like all the editorials and photo epics but its a funny one as I never watch or keep up to date on the live times etc, just watch the nice summary vids and photo stories - Its the fact that enduro best reflects what the masses actually on mountain bikes and why its popularity is forever rising,(2 major series in the UK + all smaller events too) Dirt jumps: I like this alot and watch this more than most, they have a lot of smaller events too and I love it when they set up in large city centres but not keen the bigger comps as it just seems a showcase for the "big names" and lack personality Fest: awesome but confusing media releases, their desire to do their own thing seems to mean not releasing as much to the audience - maybe im missing the stuff when its released but it just appears hap hazzard - which kinda fits with the ethos I suppose Rampage: amazing stuff and live too - crazy and this gets most coverage on TV too it seems, as its even shown here on DAVE TV chanel - so it shows what TV companies want - danger, excitement, big hits, jaw dropping moments, complaints and twitter battles about how the riders could get hurt .... DUH ... BUT whole things needs sorting, profit share or something like that - its more like an event/show than a competition, like Nitro Circus .. and I bet they get paid So, didn't vote as cant choose as I like mountain bikes and all this stuff is part of a whole

Flare's Stage Enduro Jersey and Short - Review
Companies rely on this type of feedback, they pay companies many many pounds to get opinions and feedback, its the way they know they are getting it right or, in this case, clearly getting something slightly wrong - I understand where you are coming from but for a start, this is the web .. lol .. opinions reign, plus this is a review, its putting itself out there for comments, indeed the review itself are comments, we cant just say nothing or nice things, how does that help I hope they do well, as I said in my last comment they seems to be hitting the nail on the head with the women's range, but the same can not be said of the mens and personally, if I were them I would want to know this, no matter how annoying or galling it may be

Flare's Stage Enduro Jersey and Short - Review
Was on their website the other day as one likes to be patriotic and buying stuff designed and made in Britain is always appealing but ... damn thats one ugly outfit The RIDER logo is using a very popular typography design thats all over the place at the moment and feels uncreative and lazy - a very "bandwagon" design, the colours on that top just don't work, and the thick stripes, coupled with the tight fit just looks awkward (could be due to the pale and somewhat uncomfortable looking model they used - lol) Their women's' range is really good and works well, but I don't feel the transfer to mens design has worked, plus that RIDER logo Sorry for the downer on the outfit but good luck to this company - also i am sure I read some stuff was UK made and some made abroad but just printed here - not sure but either way it's a good direction to be heading

Pinkbike Poll: Do You Ride At Night?
DO people at pinkbike hibernate or what, all this talk of off-season, parks closing, night-time seems to mean that they should pack the bikes away and wait for the nice weather and groomed parks to open?? Stuff like this confuses me .. its just riding. you do it when and where the hell you can.... screw the weather .. although the one element that truly does have me scurrying back inside is the wind, thats the only real thing that will stop me as its just soul crushing, the rest .. screw it .. ..can't wait for the snow to arrive .. yay .. RIDE you LAZY ASS PINKBIKE STAFF!!!! ... :) .. just messing about people :) smile & ride
