Jun 27, 2021Argon 18 E-114, Size XS
$1250 CADFast TT or Triathlon bike in good working condition. If you want to go really fast for fun, train for TTs, or do a triathlon, then this is a great starter bike. It has spent the past 4 years in storage.
Fit
Recommended height: under 5'8". I'm just under 5'8" and would not recommend this bike to anyone taller. The seat can be flipped to accommodate shorter fits.
Aero bars: Argon 18 bars were cut to the max length UCI allowed with a morphological exemption. If the bike fits you, then they should be long enough.
Space and spacers available to raise handlebars if desired.
Components: In good to excellent condition (10 speed)
Shifters: SRAM
Front Derailleur: SRAM Force
Rear Derailleur: SRAM Red
Crankset: Shimano Ultegra (53X39, )
Cassette: Shimano Ultegra (can include extras, but all used)
Chain: Shimano Durace (still good condition)
Wheels: Reynolds Assault carbon wheels (excellent condition)
Brakes: TRP, R725
Seat: Adamo
Why did I select good instead of "excellent" condition?
Overall, this bike works excellent, but there are a couple items to note. First, it is set up with a 1990s chain ring that only has a few seasons use on it. Second, there is some cosmetic damage on the carbon near the BB. I used decals and clear coat to protect the carbon as advised by PRW (shop in Edmonton). Third, the front shifter requires regular maintenance to perform well.

I am not sure exactly. I thin it was 17.5lbs with Mavic Ksyrium wheels when I raced it. It would be heavier with the new wheels. Based on catalogues, I think the frame is around 2.18lbs and the fork 0.65lbs.
