Switzerland Mountain Biking: Part Four - Becs de Besson/Val d'Herens
what's quick? if quick is less than 2 hours, go to the ├╝etliberg in z├╝rich: but that is of course not alpine. if you want to ride in the alps, you need to go to a southern canton, e.g. valais (zurich - visp: 2hrs by train) or grisons (zurich - chur: 1:15hrs by train). these are two good starting points, from where you can take the postautos mentioned above. of course there are tons of trails in between 2hrs and daytrips, but real alpine tours are usually all day trips...

Onza Ibex Tire - Review
why don't you all just stop effin' complaning and buy other shait? You don't buy it, they don't care, everyone goes he's way and drives 50$ car tires... Oh and btw: in Switzerland you get a 27.5x2.40 RC2 65a-55a MSRP 69 CHF. that equals around 72 US$ ;)

Pinkbike Product Picks
what i found out with riding cheap(er) pedals is: a) the bearings are either broken or not really working well after half a year b) the pedals are heavy and "survive" more than one season, or they are light but you rip off part of the cage if you hit a rock/root/etc.
