Urge Announce Enduro Team

by Matt Wragg
For more than 10 years Tribe Sport Group has supported enduro riders through its team. We have observed and followed very closely the evolution and the recent explosion of our discipline, so it’s only natural that we make the bigger step towards a team with international goals thanks to our title sponsor URGE Bike Products. The international team will take part in all the 7 rounds of the 2013 Enduro World Series. We will still not leave the Enduro Series – French Cup aside as in top of the Inter Team, a National Team will compete on these rounds.

Loyal to our values, we will concentrate our efforts on bringing our experience of the discipline to young riders who already proved their potentials with good results and wins but who also have a lot more to offer in the future. They will be able to rely on many benefits within the structure such as the experience of Alex Balaud and Sabrina Jonnier but also the support of our partners Yeti Cycles (SB66) and Rocky Mountain (Altitude) that produce the best enduro bikes at the minute. Each of our technical partners will bring something extra thanks to the renowned quality of their products. They are all recognized as a reference in their domain.

Michelin and the Fox Service Center France will be particularly involved in the development and the tuning of two of the most performance-defining characteristics of an enduro bike: tyres and suspensions. From now until the season opening on the 18th of May in Italy, the team will continue to work hard and will do their maximum to put their names on the top of the timing lists.

  • 3 0
Have a look round next time you're at a race or even out for a blast on your bike.
What is the male to female ratio?
  • 1 0
this enduro is escalating like if there was no tomorow

  • 1 1
kinda feel bad for every on this team.
  • 9 12
Well there you see that relations count, I was only seconds behind brice in the belgium enduro cup and got 3rd junior, due to his father being team manager he's on there...
  • 13 1
Not bitter or anything then... Smile
  • 9 0
It's sad but true, having a parent/friend somewhere important will definatley help you get ANY job...
  • 6 7
Guys, it is not sad, contacts and relations is almost everything. And if it is his Fathets business then he decides whether he wants his kid there or not, every single parent would do that. Look at your relation with your parents, and hehe realize that if kid wants to follow his parents in doing anything it is one in a million Smile One part of success is being great at something, second is to be able to pitch it to someone, third to know who to pitch to and how to open the doors. It's all good.

Cheers!

So you're saying he beat you at this race and therefore you deserve a place on the team?????

Sense: this does not make.
  • 7 0
Maybe they didn't want a kid on the team who is known to be a complainer and thinks he deserves a spot? Get sponsorship from POC.
  • 1 0
looks like they all need haircuts!
  • 4 0
well duh of course his dad isn't gonna pick you over him especially if he beat you
  • 1 1
I don't want this to be misunderstood, brice and all of the belgium guys are great, both in riding and personally, I would just love to have someone who could give me this opportunity...
  • 7 1
In a world where .01 seconds ether makes or breaks a race time, 'a few seconds' isn't something you should be complaining about online, especially if you want sponsors to take note. Suck it up, work harder and race faster. Oh, and kicking that entitlement complex to the curb will definitely help you out. Regardless of how talented you are or how smart or how savvy or good looking you think you are, nobody owes you anything. Give to your sport, and it will give back to you. Give it your time, your love, your practice, your patience, your training and your soul.

There's a rule in the game of life and it goes like this: It's not who you know, it's who know you.
  • 1 0
Sorry man, that's life. I know the feeling. If you work hard enough and build a great image instead of complaining about how it's no fair you'll find that those contacts will come with time. Get after it.
  • 1 4
 not a single female ??? WTF ??
  • 3 0
Besides the 2 girls in the photo?

 Sabrina and Morgane Jonnier
