Troy Brosnan's bike fell off the uplift trailer on the way up which made it unrideable, so he just broke the beam. Expect to see him smash it. Gunna be some great racing. I'm expecting Hill to smash it this season as well with Jacey back as his mechanic.

I'm not sure hill will be up there this season, he's spent off season injured...I hope I'm wrong but he's not got long to get up to speed.

You must not have seen the recent race report from Thredbo were he won by about 8 seconds. Thredbo is a long physical track so I don't think Troy is having any problems! Will be good to see him and Mick battling it out for this...

I think flymcg was talking about Hill?

yep i think he was. tho troys bike falling off the uplift trailer, i dont know whether thats worse or not as bad as the time Josh RatBoy Bryceland crashed on a race run only to see his bike fall off down the side of the mountain.

Ratboy's bike falling off the side of the mountain was classic and when he through his arm in that WTF moment...that was priceless.

I was indeed talking about Hill.

I really hope to see sam back in the consistent top 5 this season, i think its def possible but will just have to wait and see how the first couple of races go for him. Troy hopefully will get a win this year too and mick, well he will be flying as usual. Sam still has good race winning runs left in him i think, just hope the man can prove the doubters wrong.

I think Mick's pretty much got the first 2 World Cups in the bag. Especially Cairns. And I really want to see Sam do well, but this season with the tracks doesn't suit him too well.

Sorry fly, mis-read hill as he'll (meaning troy). My mistake.

Hope HIll can get back up there, he was starting to show some of that old style at Andorra and some other tracks last year. It must be hard to ride on the edge coming back from injury and with sponsors and a family to support. I'll always be rooting for him though.

No worries DIrtyDee i thought that might have been the case! All for Hill getting back up there, the aussies are a force to reckoned with.

It's amazing at the lack of depth on the women's side of the results. Second place in elite is 40 seconds back, u19 fastest is another 20 seconds back, a full minute behind Tracey. Second place in u19 is ANOTHER 40 seconds slower again. I have to admit I'm a little disappointed that Australia can't produce 4 ladies that can get within 1.40 of the fastest one.
  • 3 1
For comparison every single male in elite was separated by a smaller margin than 1 and 2 in female. Even the slowest guy in the u-17 class still got closer to Hannah than 1.40. AND right back to 8th place in the U15 class as well!

Women's Dh racing is a joke. What's new?
  • 2 0
There isn't a very big ladies scene here.
I think Canada and the USA (probably along with France) will be producing the females in the WC over the next few years.

There is more of a bike culture in those places where the ladies ride because it's far more accessible

Troy will be giving Mick a run for his money tomorrow....2 of my favorite riders for sure. Sucks about Troy's bike that baby had the sweetest green\yellow paint job from World Champs!

Mick will torch the tracks this year. Hope everyone stays Injury free.
