Can't understand this whole pseudo hardtail thing. If you want travel go full suspension, if you want a hardtail use your legs and manipulate your tire pressure. Like they say a jack of all trades is a master of none

Pinkbike Poll: Do You Work on Your Skills?
I find using the park next to my house helps a ton (like a public park with benches and swings) you can turn parking blocks into downed trees, hills into berms, and walls into skinnies. Watch a couple YouTube videos before going out and you have your own skills clinic (with a bunch of kids and parents starting at you)

UCI Announce Further Rulings Regarding On-board Helmet Cams
If you think about it, if you manage to hit the camera on the top it is going to isolate that force to one point on the helmet vs having it more spread out sans camera. Think whether it would hurt more to be stepped on by a running shoe or high heel.

I think it slightly overshifts to ensure you always catch a gear then aligns properly. where a indexed shifter could get out of alignment. My best guess wouldbe reliability and there is less to focus on vs making sure your gear catches. or at least thats my take

love that place, even after 1-2x a week since october the only thing that could keep me from going as often as possible is my arm i broke messing up the last time i was there a few weeks ago

Pinkbike Poll: Mountain Biking Injuries
I broke my radius at Ray's a few weeks back, OTB when i hit a log just right and caught my arm in between 2 logs. Still can't entirely figure out how i broke only the radius when i landed on my ulna.
