I'm selling my Trek Slash 7 because I'm graduating college; I'm leaving the mountain bike heaven that is Santa Cruz for new adventures, and I need money to pay for student loans/life. This bike has only been ridden for 3 months, is in great shape, and has a some sweet upgrades. Size (M) 17.5 comfortably fits 5'5"-6' Here's a link to the stock model: http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes/2012/archive/slash_7 I've upgraded the Avid Exlier 5's to Avid Exiler 7's, and they stop on a dime. I also converted the bike to a 1X10 set up with an E-13Chain Guide/Bash guard. The chain will never fall off, and it pedals like a dream. This bike is the perfect all mountain/enduro machine, and I really would rather not give it up. But, I need the money, so my loss is your gain. I am open to price negotiation. Contact me for more pictures, the ones I have up are pre-upgrade. I also made a video that features the bike in several scenes if you'd like to see it in action. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBQ59F6M4mk Call or text me at 626-392-2774

First Ride: Santa Cruz Bronson Carbon - 650B Ripper
I live in Santa Cruz, and I've seen people on this bike. Rode briefly with some guy who had one. It looks, and probably is, a top ten-sweetest ride ever type bike, but the fellow had difficulty keeping up on the downhill and could only match me on the uphill (pogonip entrance to campus). I ride a Trek Slash. Not gloating, just repeating what we all know; a bike doesn't make a rider. Also, we both wasted precious calories that could have been used to harvest more lentils. /r/frugal_jerk
