May 10, 2023Canyon Strive AL 8.0 - Medium - Enduro
$700 GBPSelling as it's just not being ridden as I've moved to a bigger bike. Would love to keep this but just have no space.
I've had an awesome time on this bike. It was the first enduro bike I took to Bike Park Wales and it's still probably the one I've had the most fun on.
Specs:
Evil Black model
Fork: Fox 34 Talas FIT CTD Performance
Shock: Fox Float CTD Performance BV
Crankset: e.thirteen TRS Double Crank 36/22 and chain guide
Seat post: RockShox RS Reverb Stealth
Saddle: SDG Circuit
Handlebars: Race Face Turbine
Stem: Race Face Turbine Basic
Headset: Cane Creek 40
Brakes: Avid Elixir 7 Trail (these are amazing and better than my other SRAM Guides)
Rotors: 200mm Front /180mm Rear Rotors
Shifter: Shimano Deore XT 10-Speed
Brake levers: Avid Elixir 7 Trail
Grips: DMR Deathgrips
The Fox 34 Talas FIT CTD forks have an interesting function that allows it to be run as both 130mm and 160mm, simply by turning a dial, giving you an enduro and trail bike in one! Don't know why Fox didn't continue this.
Forks, shock and seatpost have all been recently serviced.
Brand new black Inferno Sun Ringle wheels. Rear has only been ridden once. I can fit new front wheel and set it up tubeless before sale if asking price is met.
Reason for new wheels is the original rear wheel has a ding. This could be straightened or just run with tubes.
Wheels are set up tubeless.
The bike has been regularly serviced throughout it's life with me and will be checked over before sale.
Spare hanger included.
Please note: doesn't not come with pedals

Oct 22, 2021Canyon Nerve AL 7.0 aka Neuron. Trail, All Mountain
$800 GBPI've owned this 2015 Canyon Nerve AL 7.0 from new. Selling due to lack of use.
It's been used mainly around Swinley forest but has coped admirably for trips to the Passport du Soleil and trail centres around the UK.
It's been constantly maintained throughout this time and had a recent headset replacement and fork service.
Please note, that Canyon renamed the Nerve as the Neuron in 2017.
I originally bought it for myself (5'7") before going 'full enduro' and since then my wife has used it over the last few years (probably only 10 times a year).
It would suit someone 5'2" - 5'8".
"The Nerve is an incredibly versatile all-round performer that for years has been the most successful model in the Canyon mountain bike range. The Nerve has the ideal amount of travel for any riding scenario, whether just enjoying some trail time or taking on a high- alpine epic. The rear triangle design eliminates pedal squat to provide maximum efficiency on steep climbs while simultaneously ensuring ultimate control and handling precision on fast, technical descents."
Spec:
Fork: 120mm FOX 32 Float CTD Evolution (Climb, Trail, Descend). Just serviced.
Shock: 120mm FOX Float CTD Performance BV
Shifters: Shimano SLX
Cranks: Shimano XT
Front Derailleur: Shimano SLX
Rear Derailleur: Shimano XT Shadow
Shimano brakes
Mavic Crossride wheels. 27.5" (650b)
Brand-X Ascend Dropper Seatpost - 125mm
Super-light bike (12kg) with an excellent spec. Sad to see it go but it's just not being used enough.
I can also include a spare Conti Mountain King 2.4 (for the front) and a spare Canyon rear derailleur hanger.
Current set up is 3x10, but have the cassette and chainring to convert to 1x10 for an additional £50.
Bad points:
There is a small dent on the LHS near the crank. I've tried to take a photo of it. It happened years ago and has never been a concern. Other than that there's the normal signs of wear you'd expect from a MTB.
