MENTIONS: @michelinofficial
I used to race the European cups, supported by Wiggle. I was literally living the dream in my own eyes. I then went to university to gain a degree with the intention of continuing my racing career alongside my studies. It was a struggle financially and a very intensive lifestyle but I made it work and saved up enough money to pay for the next season, whilst training hard and receiving 1st class marks for my academic work. I had thought life was great before but it was just going from strength to strength. Then on the last day of the term before I went home for the holiday in December 2015, I was the victim of a hit and run when a Ford Focus turned into me and sent my flying down the road. I am now able to walk, my brain is begging to function as it used to for the first time in over a year and I am even able to ride again! Something that was in no way a certainty. Unfortunately I had to spend all of the savings I had on fixing some of my injuries that had been mistreated or missed completely by the NHS the first time around. To date I've spent £7,000 on a snapped scaphoid, seriously torn anterior and posterior ligaments in my ankle, a partially dislocated jaw and a whiplash injury to my C1 C2 ect all the way down to C6 vertebra. This neck injury not only gave me chronic migraines for 8 months, but it also pinched a nerve in my neck which sent my autonomic nervous system into overdrive, as a result I experienced heart palpitations, a resting heart rate that did not drop below 130bpm for months, insomnia, digestive problems, nausea, hypersensitivity to light and sound, and chronic anxiety. I was unable to do my university work and the stress undiagnosed injuries put on my relationship became too much and my girlfriend broke up with me. I thought I had lost my sport, my degree, my relationship and both my physical and mental health in one blow. This all happened no more than a year after my family and I had managed to save my younger brother from a 5 yeah battle with a crippling and degenerative neurological condition and all of us were at breaking point.
Luckily with the help of some incredible doctors, unflinching family support and a hell of a lot of "digging deep" I have been able to recover from most of the injuries and am nearly back to full health with only one set of MRI scans on my brain and neck left to get the all clear for the last stages of spine manipulation and physio. I feel incredibly lucky to be one of the people who can get back to normal life and I simply cannot describe how grateful I am to so nearly have my physical and mental health back. I am attempting to go back to my degree at the moment and planning how I can get back to riding often and properly. The only serious hurdle left in my path is the fact I am unable to finance any riding trips or races thanks to the ongoing medical bills I am still paying. Yet all I want to do, all I daydream about and what motivates every step I take to make myself fighting fit is to be able to get back out into the sun and explore new places with my bike. I will make it happen no matter how hard it is.
Thank you for reading,

From the french riviera too !!!
Je pense pouvoir être assez cool, passionné, et critique !!!
A vous de voir si vous me voulez à vos côtés..... (Ps: je roule aussi en michelin sur ma voiture haahahaha !!!!!)
C.U soon !
Ride hard, Ride smooth, Ride longer but just ride... Wherever, whenever, and with mates.
Why it will be great, just because it's a ride, it's an experience with a lauch of a new product, it's a meet with French myth.
that's all Folks.
Michelin needs me over there because they want to know how an avg biker picks his tyre set and what he's looking for . plus i'm really great at selling ice to eskimos with all my bla bla bla.
Yes I need a break cause when on my bike I don't read the news
P.S. I hope it doesn't sound like I'm trying to be pitiful in any way, I just want to share what mountain biking is to me, and why this holiday would honestly mean a great deal right now.
For that reason alone, drawing from experience of Michelin tyres through the ages, I put myself forward for the esteemed and noble honour of test riding the new range of Wild AM, Force AM, Jet XCR and Force XC tyres.
Thank you, thank you very much
Apart from the fact that a trip like this would be a truly memorable event in his life (something that wouldn't be so true for most of the rest of us) it would also open his eyes to all the different disciplines involved in putting together a press release like this one, everything from techs to PR to riders to mechanics.
I'm sure there are more worthy people out there, but I just wanted to give him a little kudos and although I'm sure he won't see this I'll know I published it.
Good luck everyone!
Thus, I did five training sessions per day for more than one month. One training session included eating 1kg of christmas cookies and one whole turkey. That's what I call true commitment.
If you wanna see if I am a Michelin man look-alike by now, pick me
On top of that i am a tire enthusiast and nationally a very ambitious AM/DH competitor, so this trip is perfect for me!
Sincerely,
Seb
b) Master exams at january 25th
c) never been to France - really need to go there for reasons
( d) big fan of their compounds, need to do some industry espionage to smell their formula ^^)
AND i`ve never been to France (except for a disneyland trip when i was 5 years old(26 years ago))
What's more I trust in Michelin since 3 years and Aldo want to trip in France even if I live on south France
To conclude be sure I'm very cool, on a bike or during beer drinking
Cheers !
I'm Protano Adrien, I ride Enduro with my Spartan! I like the pizza, Oscar my goldfish and a little my bike!
Even after the Christmas feast, I'm not the Bibelium but I'm not as fit as Victor or Jordan!
Even with some help (Christam vine) I don't ride as big as Pef...
I just ride for fun, and try to go out everyday.
Send me to the French riviera isn't a good idea because
- I don't want to test the Michelin tires.
- Ride with some big boys like Pef, Koretzky and Sarrou isn't a dream.
- A trip like that isn't a beautiful price.
- The french riviera isn't a good destination to ride.
- I'll steal the spotlight from the pro... :3
- I don't want to take the plane to go riding under the sun.
So, please, have pity on a young Belgian boy!
PS : A Belgian surround by French can only be good !
That sucks so hard that I need a break!!!

Need the excuse, tough finding time since growing up and having a family.
Play time on the bike is far less, but appreciated far more.
TBH I'd be happy with a premier inn down the road, and 2 days cycling my local trails on my Michelin Wild Mud R shod bike
Also would be nice to meet some nice French ladies
Havnt rode as much as we would have liked, so a fewdays away without a care in the world would be great!
Cheers
-i live in alps and there is no snow
-last time i had Michelin on my bike is ages ago
I have to get ready for Transprovence

The first would be How to get "cojones" that big!!!??

And I need to brush up on my linguistics..... A plus tard mes amis
The honeymoon is in Fort William.
je suis jamais solicitè !!!
Also I deserve a break. Ok, I don't really, but I would like one...
Everything from Atlantic Sea to the Ural and Bosporus plus Canary Islands, Greenland, Azores and Madeira.
Therefore you should be ok - also Russia and Turkey, if in Europe (see above) .
I personally would prefer a free flight to Nice and back and no team camp.
