Wiggle and Chain Reaction Cycles Merge Confirmed
The way i see it is that the bigger they get the more expensive is their operation, they have more costs so they cannot bring the margins too low. A medium sized well organized online shop will always beat the big ones. The german webstores are a good example.

I had a 2006 Torque. The details of that frame were great. But the other Torques that came after that model looked quite "economic" to me. No more geometry adjustments, no more front badge (replaced by printed logo)..... It is an impressive assembly line but there is no soul there in my opinion. Personnaly I get more impressed with small bike or components factories/workshops with full production based on their own country.

I like it a lot. As I get old I like more and more of homemade/not mass production frames... I should start my own hobby for those days at home :-)

Escaping to Norway's Lofoten Islands - Photo Epic
I have been to Tromso last year in January and I always wondered if there were trails on those hills under the snow. The landscape is amazing in the summer !!

Öhlins RXF Fork - First Look
Well, I am sure it performs really well but it sure looks like a cheap fork. Also I would like to see 15 and 20 mm compatibility. If it weren't the Ohlins stickers i woud say it was a low end fork.

Looks like those Bedfords that used to circulate here in the 80s.
