From Where We Stand: An East Coast Love Story
I'm originally from central PA and I miss the trails for sure. Way more interesting and challenging, I love the woods and the people. However, I used to have to drive 45 min to get to decent trails, now I live 10 minutes from multiple trail heads and have hundreds of more miles of legal trail to ride, and I get hassled by police a lot less often. I'm a beast from the east but here in the west it's best.

Oregon Enduro Series - Ashland Preview with Nathan Riddle
maverick you are an idiot. yeah, I reduced myself to name calling. A race is a race. The riders will be timed on a course, and they are going to call it enduro, get over it. Enduro is just a trendy term, its a stage race. Ashland is a great place to ride in a state that is full of good riding. We have laws in the US that prevent us from building trails in a lot of alpine areas and backcountry areas. So maybe it isnt the most technical course, so what? Come ride the Oregon enduro series, im thinking you probably dont do too well.

Video: Oregon Enduro Bend - Course Preview
Everyone in town knows this trail/trails. Super easy to shuttle with lots of other great routes to take close by. Hit up the Cogwild folks when you get to Bend, they will set you right. This course is fast and flowy for sure, but its our race track, it was purpose built that way, theres 500 miles of singletrack out here, theres plenty of technical stuff, it just isnt easy to access for a race, you gotta earn your DH in Bend. much to my dismay. Have fun out there everyone!! I'll be the super annoying guy with the cowbell yelling at you all to pin it!

Trans-Sylvania Mountain Bike Epic: Day 4 - Galbraith Enduro
didnt Gwin race sea otter DH on a 29er? and who cares if xc guys compete and do well, dont be afraid of tight clothes, smaller travel, and better conditioning, these racers look like the would rip the legs off most people, so if you just do shuttles and dont ride uphill stay near your lift service areas, but the rest of the world understands to go down you gotta pedal up. and PA trails are steep and techy so don't hate.

Less Than 8 Hours Left to Vote in the Photo of the Year Final
these pics are ok, but there is obvious bias towards pics in Canada. I get that this is a canadian website but I feel you lose a little credibility with this contest. the best photos are not represented here in the final. pics from whistler should have to be mind blowing, that area has been so over exposed its like Ive seen every angle/ vantage point/ lighting/ time of day/ season. yawn. it may be stellar riding up there, but some of the photos from all over the world show true creativity and passion for biking and photography, snapping pics at the most heavily ridden park in the world is like shooting fish in a barrel.

Vanderham Takes Flight
I was wondering the same thing. Its just a photo stunt which is cool, but not something any of us deal with out on the trail. Great style, I definitely wouldn't be able to do it, but a huge dj isnt selling me on Saint.
