Video: Training for Rampage with Nick Pescetto
Pretty tame compared to what's at rampage but I loved watching that! those lines look so much fun, (in comparison to rampage where lines look like death sentences)

Video: Race Highlights - DH World Championships Vallnord 2015
I think carbon was faster in downhill when components were heavier such as coil forks, heavy wheels etc but now these components are that much lighter we don't need such a light frame. I don't believe there is an optimum weight for a downhill bike but I do think a downhill bike can be too light. Then it is far cheaper to produce an aluminium frame and far easier to change the numbers slightly to suit riders preferences and changes in track meaning the rider can be 100% happy they have the right head angle, chainstay length etc without spending a fortune on a new cast for a carbon frame.

First Look: BREW Nitro Shox - Eurobike 2015
Let me put 10% faster into perspective. Aaron Gwin won Val di Sole in 2012 by nearly 8 seconds, if he went 10% faster, he would have won by 27 seconds...

Santa Cruz v10

$2500 GBP
For sale is my much loved Santa Cruz v10. I bought this bike second hand 2 years ago from my good friend who's in the Steve Peat Syndicate (SPS). It has been heli-taped since new with invisiframe so there are very few scuffs except for those on the heli-tape. The bike is very high spec as expected from an SPS bike, I have recently put a brand new rear wheel on and a brand new shimano zee brake calliper on the rear. The forks have also been serviced by mojo a few rides ago so running amazing. Spec is as follows: Rear Shock: Fox RC4 Kashima Fork: Fox 40 FIT Kashima Rear Derailleur: Shimano Saint Shifters: Shimano Saint Cranks: Shimano Saint Chainrings: Shimano Saint 36T Chain Guide: E thirteen LG1 Cassette: Shimano Ultegra 11-23T Chain: Shimano XTR Front Brake: Shimano Saint Rear Brake: Shimano Saint lever with Zee Calliper Handlebars: Renthal Fatbar 770mm Stem: Renthal Strata duo Headset: Hope Grips: Lizard Skins Peaty Wheels: Hope pro2 hubs laced to Mavic EX721 rims Tyres: Maxxis High Roller 2 (I'll throw in some Maxxis Wetscreams too) Saddle: SDG Fly I'm asking for £2500 ONO, please no trades. Any questions feel free to ask and I will try my best to reply the same day. Mikey
