An exciting new bike park is coming to Chestermere, Alberta, in the spring of 2014.
Situated just 25 minutes from downtown Calgary, Chestermere's growing community is attracting people with its business opportunities and access to recreational activities. This bike park is a fantastic addition to the town. Nothing else like this exists in the greater Calgary region. The presence of public bike parks has exploded in BC over the last decade, but Alberta is a little behind, so it’s awesome to see a top quality project by
Alpine Bike Parks being constructed here. Having the right people for the job is crucial. The build crew consisted of a stacked roster of experienced builders and riders. Jordie Lunn, Justin Wyper, Jarrett Moore, and Luke Fulgham were all contributors.
There are a wide variety of features offered at the park. This includes a large pumptrack, hip jumps, and a mix of
Flowform features like drops, boner logs, and curved wall rides. The park is currently closed to public for the winter, but come springtime it will be open once the crew does the final touch ups!
