Specialized Venge Comp

$1499 USD
Used 2013 Specialized Venge Comp size 58 Frameset: Specialized FACT 10r carbon, tapered 1-1/8" to 1-3/8" head tube, internal cable routing Drivetrain: Complete Shimano 105 Crankset: FSA Gossamer Pro Components: Specialized in-house Wheelset: DT Axis 4.0 Tires: Specialized All Condition Armadillo 700x25 Saddle: Specialized Phenom Pedals: Shimano Ultegra 6700 I got this bike in the summer of 2013 and rode it for a year. It was quick and fun. However in the fall of 2014, I had a big crash while racing DH. I paralyzed most of my right leg. I have not been able to ride since and so I hope to find this bike a good owner. The bike has been well taken care of (I am a shop mechanic). It has had no crashes. That said there are some cosmetic blemishes from normal riding. The only spots of note are small paint chips on the downtube. These chips are just in the red paint and do not even go through the clear coat. You can readily see these in the photos posted above. Also, the included plastic laminate chain stay protector has a few rips. Otherwise, the bike is tip top shape, it has been kept in a dry garage the whole time. I added All Condition tires for training (the roads where I live are less than perfect) and swapped out the saddle for something my size. Other than this, the bike is completely stock. As I can't currently ride, I am also getting rid of some spare parts I had for the bike. They are included in the price of the bike. They are as follows: New Shimano 105 (11-28) cassette Specialized Roman Comp saddle (155mm) If you are seriously interested, please let me know. I can upload more specific pictures if requested. I will ship to anywhere in mainland North America. Buyer pays shipping. The bike will be professionally prepared for shipping. Thanks for looking and message or text me if you have any questions! - Kyle

I have upgraded parts over the life of the bike to improve the ride. Parts have been replaced as they wear out. The cassette and chain are new as of the end of last season. I bought the fork new in July of 2014. It probably has 15 hours of riding on it. In the off-season, I replaced the old seatpost with a new one (the one pictured). I also installed new cables and cable housing for the derailleurs over the winter. New grips were put on at the same time. In the October, I severely injured myself and haven't been able to ride since. All parts that were installed after October are brand new and have not been used. The frame has a few cosmetic marks from regular riding. They are shown in the photos. All of the damage is cosmetic scratching to paint and clear coat. The rear wheel has a small dent and the rear brake could use a new set of pads, but other than that, everything is in top notch shape. Here is a walk around video http://www.pinkbike.com/video/418602/ If you are seriously interested, please let me know. I can upload more specific pictures if requested. I will ship to anywhere in mainland North America. Buyer pays shipping. The bike will be professionally packed for shipping.
