As for your concerns about your size, I'm 6'1" about 205 and typically race DH. I just built up a hardtail 29er with the following Geo: ETT 24.5" ST 19" CS 17.5", HT Angle 67.5 deg w/ 120mm fork, PressFit 30 BB, 44mm HT, 30.9 Seatpost, 142x12 rear axle, 1x10. So far I'm impressed with how well this thing rides. Especially in rolling twisty terrain, thins thing HAULS!! It still rides like a hard tail and is a bit under gunned for the way I ride but so far there hasn't bee a single descent or climb I haven't been able to tackle on this thing. There's some noticeable frame flex but nothing that hampers how it actually handles on the trail.

Hey SaintJoeRider, I'm a welder for Moots. We can easily make you a 27.5, we've moved up our release of our "stock" 27.5 frame options which were originally due out in the fall. But if you're already looking at custom we can do it. As for switching between rigid and suspension just get a "suspension corrected" rigid fork and your golden! We can run cable guides so they're there when you need them too. Even if your LBS isn't a Moots dealer we can work with them to make sure your getting the bike you want. Kent makes great bikes, but he does things a bit more by feel, rather than being all about precision. Your call, we can make what you want and make it right.

Nov 21, 20122011 Morewood Makulu Med. custom paint
$3300 USDI'm selling my 2011 med Morewood Makulu. It was custom painted at the start of this season (frame and fork). This is a one of a kind bike you won't find anywhere else! Bearings are running smooth as ever, the main was replaced after paint and I've got brand new ones for the rest just never got around to installing them (all Enduro Max). The wheels pictured are almost brand new with maybe a dozen mellow laps on the local hill (they just started building DH trails and it's mostly on a blue wimpy jump trail). I'm pretty firm on the price as is but would be willing to go down with just the other wheelset (the listed price includes both wheelsets). There is some paint scratches and a dent on the non-drive chainstay but beyond that just a few minor scratches from normal riding. It hasn't been ridden much this season and has many more years of shred left. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. Price includes shipping to lower 48.
Frame:Med Makulu
Fork: Marzocchi 888 Evo Ti (it has the x-firm rate steel spring in it currently and I still have the stock Med Ti spring included)
Shock: Cane Creek DB Coil (custom tuned for this bike includes #200 and #250 steel springs, and #250 Ti spring)
Brakes: Hope Tech M4 w/ gold levers (203 frt 180 rer)
Wheels: nearly new Spank Spike Race28 on Profile hubs with DT Swiss Supercomp spokes
H-Bar: Spank Spike 777 30mm rise
Pedals: Spank Spike
Cranks: MRP Camber (I've got a brand new BB for them as well that's included)
C-Guide: MRP mini G2 SL w/ 36t podium ring
Chain: KMC SL-9 gold ti-ni
Derailleur: Sram X9
Shifter: Sram X9
Stem: Sunline direct mount
Tires: Panaracer Cedric AC 2.5 about 2/3rds tread left
Grips: ODI Troy Lee
Cassette: Sram DH 9spd
Seatpost: Truvativ Stylo (Brand New not pictured)
Saddle: WTB Silverado Ti rail
