Specialized S-Works Enduro 650B - Review
Interesting to see that spesh still leave the cables dangling beneath the bb..... Cable to the rear break is also very close to the rear tyre wall and rear spokes which rubs occasionally if it's real muddy... I have severed many a cable on my enduro and I have had it since 2010, surprised they have not change the design for the better with a 10k bike,

Video: Last Lap at Canyons Bike Park
Zooming out on the above map, I became excited, then disgusted at the amount of bike parks/trails you guys have out there! Signed, Man in House in London.

I may be able to shed some light on this: So Karim's mechanic had his van set up in the campsite at the Megavalanche and when he was not servicing Karim's bike he was servicing other racers bikes. He had Karim's bike on display out the front so I got to have a good nosey around it and I did quiz him on the disc protector.... He said it was a protector from stones getting pumped into the area but more importantly it was also acting as a dust protector to ensure that 100% braking was maintained throughout the race which was very very dusty at the best of times with a few wet sections crossing rivers...... So how much for a new disc I asked him as I had bent the rotor badly thinking the protector is now a good idea!!!
