Montenbaik Enduro Round 7: Valdivia 2015 - Video

425 riders arrived in Valdivia to the last round of the Montenbaik Enduro 2015 that was holding the 3rd and final round of the Montenbaik Enduro Latam Series.


Valdivia will host the first round of the 2016 Enduro World Series in Chile.

Two days of racing in the Coastal range mountain of Valdivia was exhausting for all the riders.


Amazing views of the Pacific Ocean were part of the great scenery of Valdivia and it's surroundings.


Pedro Ferreira was one of the favorite to get the Championship, but a puncture in the first stage kill all the possibilities.


On the other hand, the Junior Pedro Burns did a perfect race and took the Montenbaik Enduro Championship 2015 after a solid year. Next year it will be seen racing the EWS on the Ibis factory team on under-21 class.

Stage 2 probably had the best view of the 7 stages.


After crossing the coastal range mountains, the riders had the chance to rest a few minutes in Pilolcura's beach.


Nico Prudencio, finally got pack his pace after a serious injury at the begging of the year.


The famous red argyle of Corral Valdivia, this year was dry allowing high speed turns.


Santiago Perez was one of the surprises of this year on his Giant Reign. He was able to finish in 5th place this last round.


On the Enduro 1 podium was in first Mauricio Acuña (Mondarker Dune) with a time of 29:02.1, on second place Andreas Kukulis (Banshee Rune), with 29:08.0, on third the Brasilian André Bretas (Specialized Enduro), with 29:15.0. Fourt arrived the junior Pedro Burns (IBIS Mojo HD), with 29:19.8; and fifth, Santiago Pérez (Giant Reign), with 29:30.6.


Mauricio Acuña, probably one of the fastest downhill riders of Chile is getting more and more into the Enduro racing and this last round had the fastest time of the two days of racing.


Florencia Espiñeira is unbeatable, she won the race and the National Champs followed by Josefina Gardulski and Antonia Würth.


The Montenbaik Enduro Latam Series was won by the Chilean Andreas Kukulis, second the Brazilian André Bretas and third the Chilean Pedro Ferreira.


Andreas Kukulis, came from Downhill and in just one year of Enduro Racing he was able to turn in the first Enduro Latin American Champion.


On 2015 we had 25 team competing for this podium, Intercycles team was the winner followed by Extreme Zone Cycles Racing and Santa Cruz Bicycles Chile.
