On The Sexiest AM/FR/Enduro Hardtail thread we decided to have a poll to decide what has been the sexiest bike of 2014. Over the last week bikes have been nominated and the most nominated bikes have short listed in this final poll. A few Switchbacks (i nominated one myself) were nominated in The Sexiest AM/FR/Enduro Thread, but they didn't have enough nominations to get into the top 5 bikes that went to the public vote.

Why on earth is the Production Privee Shan 27 not on this list? It's the definitive AM hardtail!

Because the only one built so far has been the pre production version that Production Privee own. I think they haven't even shipped the Shan 27s yet. A few shans were nominated in The Sexiest AM/FR/Enduro Thread, but they didn't have enough nominations to get into the top 5 bikes that went to the public vote.

Fair enough dude, you have a good point! It's a shame that not a huge amount of people have heard of them/own them, because they're unlike any hardtail I've ever ridden and the frame is so simple and beautifully made it looks better than most other hardtails. The BTR is also amazing and looks great (despite the little cross bracing near the headtube)

As a Cotic BFe owner, i dont think they are in the running any more, the geometry is starting to feel dated, the BB is to high, head angle to steep, front centre to small. Not bad looking but need a update really soon!
