Don't forget the Alu Santa Cruz Hightower. Not as much tradel as the Ripmo AF, but the bike looks good for the money. And, SC is not really known for budget builds.

That bike looks awesome. I think the rear shock placement looks very intuitive. Like a vertical shock makes a lot of sense. But, maybe slap a mud guard on that bad boy. I can see wet rides flinging mud and debris into the coil and onto the stanction.

What this tells me is that 157 DH was stupid. Why didn't hey just move the hub flange back then, and increase the bracing angle of the spokes.
