Gwinny on a flyer, choosing to roll the rock section right after this.
Luca Shaw airing it out for 3rd.
We crowned our National Champions yesterday with a good bit of drama on the hill. Flats, crashes, and concussions took out many of our pro and junior riders, but Aaron Gwin continued his dominance once again! Mikey Sylvestri felt right at home in the kitty litter to slide into second, with Luca shaw rounding out the top 3. Kevin Aiello and Logan Binggeli had clean runs and ended up 4th and 5th respectively.
Charlie Harrison also defended his
#1 qualifying spot with a time only 8" off of Aaron Gwin. The 15-16 Nat'l champ from last year, Andras Simon, had a crazy run to slot himself into a hot 2nd. Warren Kniss, your dual slalom Nat'l jr champion rounded out the top 3.
Jill Kintner stomped the competition by 15 seconds to take her 15th national title. Jacqueline Thomas from Colorado took down the
#2 spot, while Becky Gardner, who has been training in Colorado ended up placing 3rd.

Says she's fine.
I'm doing pretty well, a bruised sternum is the worst damage. Gonna have to (reluctantly) sit this weekend out though
