I take back all my banter about how this course was not a very legit DH course after the course preview. Those gardens are fierce. That and the conditions from the planet Dune make an exciting race.

I'm doing pretty well, a bruised sternum is the worst damage. Gonna have to (reluctantly) sit this weekend out though

Win meter is pegged. Some burly sections that made even the likes of Shaw, Gwin and Slyvestri check up a bit. And while there were some unpleasant looking stacks, there were also some amazing, stem shagging saves too. Great recap IMO.

Did you actually ride it? The Pro/cat 1 course was a great course with many line choices all the way down. I didn't hear a single negative comment from any of the other riders at the event. Chris Herdon did a good job making sure this course was up to snuff.
