Small front ring is fine as this opens space to pass over objects easier. Simply set up your gear range from the rear sprocket size.....Good to see this design and its shimano size compatible!

$700 USDAs new Fox Factory 36 fork with 160mm travel, Fork can be used from 140-160 according to Fox's web pg. Steer tube was cut to 8 1/8" or 206mm in length. 29/27.5+ compatible, 110x15 boost axle spacing. Decided to get a 34 as I wanted a lighter fork for the project bike.
