that's supposed to be a years supply, that'll last me well in to the next 2 decades.

Just an FYI, as much as I like MucOff this is purely to bolster their mailing lists. You can't submit an answer without consenting to their future emails etc (only visible on desktop view btw) ... now there's nothing wrong with that per say but it's a bit lame and their junk mail is pretty hefty in my experience. . Still nice price and all that.

No spam filter on your email provider then? Or maybe just unsubscribe once you've read enough?
  • 5 2
@Obidog: of course there is and its used thoroughly believe me, and furthermore I have tried my luck at MucOff comps before. The prizes are generally very enticing. Each time however, its the same mailing list thing though which as i mentioned, is fine- they're a business after all.. However, I don't agree with just submitting an answer, just for yet another company to fill my junk folder. Who wins there? I just felt it was worth making clear to those who might still assume there is such a thing as a free lunch...

Umm, I entered and just unticked the box below which asks if you'd like to receive further news (spam).
  • 1 3
@Kiwiplague: I checked that, you are right but that is the case on true desktop (w/chrome in my case) but not via 'desktop view' on iOS. The mobile view of the PB page doesn't give you the submit button at all as mentioned, and enabling 'desktop version of website' doesn't present the option to opt out of future mail etc- which would represent a significant amount of users.

EDIT DISCLAIMER: if no one else is seeing the reported check box spam issue on mobile then I'll have no option but to continue with this misinformation in the style of Sean Spicer for the rest of the day. You have been warned. FAKE NUDES! SAD!

Just click the checkbox. I did. PEBCAK on your side. This site is not mobile ready.

@nickkk: I was able to uncheck the box and enter contest using iPhone 6s.

I love the number of upvotes from the technically inept for the thread starting post. Brings me back to reality that not everyone works in IT. I have been in the world so long, that I forgot there are still people out there that do not know how to really use a computer.
  • 1 1
@meesterover: hmm. Well it's not clear where the sentiment or empathy for my original post lies from a couple dozen anonymous upvotes, but it's pretty cool you hold those not in the rarified world of IT in really high regard.. you're not doing much for your industries reputation as a bunch of feckless, sneering know it alls with chips on your shoulders. Should I turn it off and on again?

I'm a big muc-off fan since their dry-shower (and since I learned about the company's history). The dry-shower is useful not only for camping but sometimes also during a stressful day at the office.

Keep on going!

The Muc-Off cassette/chain cleaner is one of the best bloody thing's ive ever bought!

Maybe a week ago there was another post about muk-off, something about mud sliding off the frame. Which spawned a conversation about alternate substances like cooking spray, of which i use and it works. I just figured i buy some muk-off anyways. Got it from a LBS. Tested it in wet, sticky conditions a few days ago and am more impressed than the cooking spray on a towel method. The mud and dried dirt fell right off at home with little hose pressure. So now ill have to wait for after another rain kto test longevity. Surge Evo OD was delivered this morning. So beautiful!

I'll have to give that a go! Thanks!

That is not a years supply.....I live in the UK and it takes me all of that to get my bike clean after one ride!
  • 1 1
It never ceases to amaze me that riders in the UK seem to think that nowhere else has rain and mud. And I hail from the UK, I know what it's like.

@truffy: Sorry. I was under the impression that the rest of the world was dry and dusty for 360 days of the year... My bad.
