For sale: DMR Switchback custom build steel hardtail. NOW: £150 ono Pick up from London preferred, possibility drop off Newcastle or Edinburgh/Borders could be arranged in the near future. Also will consider if you want to arrange a courier to pick it up on your behalf. Specs: Size - 18&1/2" I think. I'm 6'0" and the Easton seatpost reaches high enough for correct climbing position and could go 2-3cm further (without going beyond the minimum position). Frame - DMR Switchback Reynolds 520 steel hardtail frame, designed for XC use but lends itself to the rougher stuff well. Blue, in good condition (i.e. nothing broken) but with various scratches and scuffs and areas of grey paint touchup. Very responsive on the trail with a nice amount of flex. Forks - Marzocchi Z1 MCR Bombers, 130mm travel. Circa 2001-2002 vintage . Brakes - Hope Minis, working well. 160mm dia discs. Wheels - Mavic 717 and 721 rims on Shimano XT hubs. Fair bit of play on the back hub, a little on the front. Gears - Shimano Deore, 27 speed. Dial on left shifter broken off but works fine. Other - Big WTB saddle. Bottom bracket - Fair bit of play, needs replacing soon. Let me know if you would like any more photos, further info etc. Cheers,
