This first Night Enduro race will take place at One Planet Adventure Llandegla Forest on Saturday 1st February 2014.

Ride the stages during the day then race them when it gets dark.

The Venue – One Planet Adventure, Llandegla, North Wales.

With over 44 km of purpose-built mountain bike trails, people travel from all over the country to ride here and with a top-class trails demand a top-class centre and Cafe fill up those empty legs.

The map for the stages will be released before the race so you can pre ride all the stages in the day light. We understand that not everyone is as fit as a butchers dog so the stages will be open to ride on Saturday to allow the not so fit to have nice easy ride round all the stages.

There will be nice easy transitions times between stages which will return you back to visitors center at the end of the race and hot food drinks from the cafe.

The Stages

The stages will be made up of the Red and Black trails and will follow the main marked trails to keep everyone going in the right direction and so we don't lose anyone in the forest. These sections are designed for mountain bikers who are used to physically demanding routes.

The Format

The Night Enduro’s will take place over one day and will be of a shorter distance to the Uk Gravity Enduro’s to allow riders to practice the the 3 stages before the start of the race later after dark.
Distance will vary but expect around 14 miles to complete the 3 stages and the route.
With a practice lap and the race you will cover around 30 miles.
The transitions are not timed so no penalties for being late and will follow the marked route to keep everyone going in the right direction.
All three stage times will be added together to produce the overall results for each category.

Racing in the dark is real fun experience the race is for proficient mountain bikers with a high skill level who can ride the steeper downhill stretches and much more challenging technical features of Llandegla. if your 15 or over have a mountain bike, good lights and a helmet then you can race.
The guys at One Planet Adventure and Tillhill who operate the forest have waved the hire fee for the race so the entry fee is only £33.90 including online entry fee.
The fee does not include the car parking fee as a lot of local riders already have season tickets or will come with more than 1 rider in car so you will have to pay for parking at the race.

I'm entered, don't mind paying the fee as anyone who has organised an event realises there are huge costs to cover, timing ,insurance etc. If you don't want to pay don't cooking enter and quit bitching.
