Shaking down crankworx bc they aren’t able to make a sustainable living through their own sponsors and channels is unbelievably lame. Crankworx events are the only reason you can make a living in the first place but naw… pay for my flight, pay for my food, pay me to appear, pay my medical bills…

I can’t keep track of any of this shit. All I know is I don’t get to watch downhill racing anymore and I don’t understand why.

@L0rdTom: I think the comparison to Gee is spot on. On a separate note but using gee as a reference again I think private people tend to attract a lot of misplaced hate in the public eye. If you were to place Aaron and Gee on a spectrum they would classify as ‘extremely private’. You can see their sponsors have tried over the years to force a personal connection with fans using vlogs, house tours, etc. Unfortunately for truly private people no matter where the camera goes or what questions are asked they will not be the open book fans and sponsors want. On the other end of the spectrum would be our author’s hero RuPaul. Yes it feels good to connect with public figures. Yes it’s good professional advice to encourage private celebrities to try to open up. But to hate someone for being private, even if it is common, is really close minded. Add in the anti-American sentiments and I’ll agree with the crowd here that the article is in very poor taste.

Yup. Had a 17.5 Remedy that was too small so I ran it steep to squeak out a little extra reach. Now I have an 18.5 and get to be a rad slack dude. Done the same for every bike with a chip. Pick the best one for me and chill
