Live To Ride - Episode Three. The Samson brothers are two of the sickest dirt jump riders in the UK, on this trip we were eager to hit up some of the best spots in Spain whilst also sampling some of the more intense gravity based riding the country has to offer up in the mountains of La Molina.
La Poma is well known for being one of the best dirt jump spots in Europe, on their last trip to the humble seaside town just half an hour drive from Barcelona the guys were met with heavy rain and barely got to ride the jumps. It's safe to say they were stoked to see bone dry dusty trails when we arrived. Before long the dirt jump bikes were out and all the locals were getting involved in what turned out to be a massive evening sesh.
"
Last time we were here it was storming with some big gusts so we barely rode the big line, but today it's the total opposite! Stoked!" -
Ray SamsonRay was throwing down hard, the jump line has some huge jumps on it and Blake was loving racking up some serious air miles.
"
The locals there are so friendly, willing to do anything to help out and always keeping the trails watered and running sweet!" -
Blake Samson "
I couldn't ask for a better brother, he is literally the best riding buddy and friend. We push each other to the limit and if one person steps it up the other has to.." -
Ray Samson "
Riding trails with my brother is so good, watching him whip out in front of me and competing to see who can do the biggest kick out on the trails is fun when you're training.." -
Blake Samson "
Watching my bro flip whip the biggest thing there was amazing!" -
Blake SamsonCheers for checking out part one of the adventure! Stay tuned for part 2 where the Samson bro's hit up La Molina and some sick secret jump spots in the mountains!
