Video: What's the Real Difference of Lumen Output on the Trail?
This. Beam patterns are overlooked a lot. I have a 350 an 600 lumen nite riders in a pencil beam pattern that work fine along with a couple lights with spreader lenses (which take more candela and lumen due to the thicker lens). 4k is a lot unless you're combining 4 LED's at 1k each. With lighting, it's all about how you use/aim it vs outright power.

This thing is a rocket ship on the road, but I just built a new bike, so I no longer need it.

Drivetrain was completely cleaned and waxed less than 100 miles ago, along with a new Token thread-together BB. 28T Cassette and chain have under 300 miles on them. Ultegra 10s.

Video: Are We Finally Ready for the Automatic Groupset?
I can see the value for e-bikes and users that REALLY don't want to put much effort in; especially those in the US who never have driven a manual and struggle with when to shift gears on a bike.

First Ride: Pinion's E-Drive System - A New Motor With an Integrated Gearbox
This is effectively how motorcycle transmissions work: the engine is mated right to the gearbox. I'm glad someone finally did this for e-bikes where the weight doesn't matter as much.
