2023 Trek Fuel EX 8 - Size - XL - Colour - Matte Pennyflake The brand new 6th generation bike that was released earlier this year and won Pinkbike’s bike of the year. I absolutely love this bike and really hate to have to let it go but due to unforeseen circumstances I have to sell one of my bikes. I’ve tastefully upgraded a few parts to really make this bike “shore ready” Wheels: Rear - Bontrager Line elite Carbon (rapid drive 108 hub) Front - Bontrager line comp Tires - Brand new Maxxis Assegai - DD maxxgrip front. Dhr 2 EXO+ with Vitoria Airliner insert. Derailleur - Shimano XT Shifter - Shimano XT Cassette - Shimano XT Chain - Shimano XTR (few rides old) Cranks - Shimano SLX Brakes - Shimano SLX (Swapped out to metallic pads recently) Fork - Fox 36 Rhythm with Z1 coil conversion. X - Firm spring installed. Firm included. Shock - Float X performance. Bike has just had full tear down and overhaul and is dialled and ready to rip for summer. All pivots have been serviced as well as headset, BB and 50 hr service on fork. There are a few chips on the frame from shuttling but only cosmetic (visible in pictures). Fork and shock are scratch free. Bike has never been crashed. Price has been reduced and the first person with $3,850 takes it. Moving and need gone ASAP! 2023 Trek Fuel EX 8 - Size XL I absolutely love this bike, the hype is real! Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances I am moving and need to sell one of my two bikes. I’ve owned the bike since February and ridden it a 1-2 times per week. There are a few scrapes and scuffs from transport and heel rub, all cosmetic. I have not crashed the bike. Currently setup MULLET with a Bontrager Line Elite Carbon rear wheel Fox 36 Rythem - Z1 coil conversation 160mm X-Firm spring installed (Firm spring also included) Fox Float X - Performance 140mm travel XTR - Chain, replaced May 5th XT - shifter, derailleur, cassette. SLX - Brakes and cranks Wheels: R - Bontrager line elite 27.5 (carbon) F - Bontrager line comp 29 Basically new Assegai DD Maxxgrip/Dhr2 exo+ w/Vitoria airliner tire insert. Fresh Metallic brake pads. I just did a full tear down and cleaned/inspected/greased all pivots + headset and BB. Get the bike of the year with the right upgrades to ride anything on the shore! Bike has been serviced all around with a lot of fresh parts. Set up as 29/27.5 mullet but the front 27.5 is also included. Fork: Fox 36 Factory Fit4 160mm with Push ACS3 Coil conversion kit ($405 USD). Black spring installed (210-235 lbs). Green spring included (195-210 lbs). Im about 190 but preferred the stiffer spring. Lowers just serviced. Shock: Fox Float X2 Factory 160mm. Just had a 200hr service done at Fox. Drivetrain: XT - All new: cassette, OneUp chainring, chain, derailleur pulley wheels. Brakes: Magura MT5 4 piston. Brand new master cylinders/levers. Fresh brake pads and bleed. 200mm front 180mm rear rotors. Dropper: Oneup 210mm. Just serviced with new guide pins and bushings. Wheels: Front 29: Brand new Bontrager Line Comp 30 with Rapid Drive 108 Hub - Maxxis Minion DHF Front 27.5: Mavic E-MX 435 with DT 350 Hub - Maxxis Assegai Rear 27.5: DT Swiss FR560 with DT 350 Hub - Maxxis Minion DHF New Spank Spoon 35mm rise bars.
