If you live in the Portland, OR/Vancouver, WA area and ride a MTB, then surely you've heard or 'discovered' on your favorite social media website about 'Thrillium' and Larch Mountain trails. On May 3rd, the CCMTB Crew hosted a membership and fundraising shuttle day to continue maintaining and improving the area. In a massive attendance from as far north as Seattle, Spokane, from the east of Pendelton, south from Bend and Salem, they came in droves. The event sold out. You can stay up to date on events hosted at ColdCreekMTB HERE.

My riding partner for the day was Shawn Sterken, living legend from the snowboarding world. Shawn was featured in mags, videos and has recovered from one of the nastiest crashes known, he has a pretty good story about exploding organs and bones.

Staging area or the what I like to call it is the 'catch my breath' spot. Joe Rager, Jr AKA the Manboy from Amboy, WA is the local with all the knowledge, first run, follow Joe, he will flow.

This day brings out all the CEO's of growing sustainability brands, meet the brains behind Cycle Dog Lannette Fidrych who made time to hit the laps on her big bike. She does spend her summer months in the Whislter Bike Park.

Enroute to the top with Jim Kelly, he and I were freezing our grey hairs off here. Rain came in and made us earn our rides.
