NW Cup 5: This Weekend

If you need a course preview after watching this, I'm sorry to show you the previous course preview of the Pro/Cat 1 Track here with #2 overall Commander Brad Delzer:
Cat 2 course is the same start at Pro/Cat 1, but you descend the Upper Bowl road- to Cannonball to Gnar Gnar to Fire Hydrant (with options to and around the log drop)

Cat 3 Course is tougher but long- Starting from the Top, but racers descend a safer line to the Skyline Road down to Gnar Gnar and into Fire Hydrant! Racers asked for a tougher course- you got it!

Photographer Greg Tubbs has documented every single race this year (and last) and would like to direct all interested parties in purchasing race images to scope out his website HERE.
Camping at the Ski Bowl is permitted for $5 a parking space- take more than one space- pay additional $5. So for Fri and Sat night- expect to pay $10. Lot Attendant will be scouring the lot again for those sneaking in.

Bad timing for me was all.. Following the beer spraying at PA along with the always brilliant spectator in my race line I was starting to get agitated by the gallery. Should have known that ol Anzalone was pulling my leg.

People wer spraying beer at beacon. That shit is rediculous. It's drives me nuts, and really ruins your goggles. Makes them real sticky. Saw lots of it at port a, and could never understand why it was cool. Those damn merican radness kooks seem to be the ones I always see doing it.

Spraying beer is officially banned at NW Cups. If you witness said action, please report it to an official (demonstrate if needed) and the perp will also be banned....along with Steve Peat.

Thanks for the props everyone! Wish I was going to be at the race this weekend but I have other plans. I'll at least try to make it to the finals at Stevens Pass. Hope everyone has an epic race this weekend!

I sort of agreed with everyone a couple of weeks back about the cat 1/pro course looking pretty tame. Then I rode it.... Yikes! The course is intense.

Ya course is specially insane when your holding on for dear life on a TR250 single crown fork. Ya pat! Get that shit boyyyyiiii! He was pinned. Green rain coat and black helmet.
