Sun Peaks Dirty Feet MTB Marathon

Anticipation. Racing got underway right on time at 10:00.

Nelson Kleer heads out of the village through the covered bridge, pretty cool way to start a race. Nelson ended up 5th in the 60km.

Mike Gosselin from Kamloops working hard on the long first climb. His hard work resulted in a 2nd place in the Mens 40km.

Soon enough these will be covered in skiers and snowboarders. For now, they make a beautiful backdrop. Maybe they helped the racers forget how hot this climb was... probably not.

Nathan Blok from PG tearing it up in the trees. Nathan took 2nd place in the Men's 60km, while Chrissy Blok took the win in Women's 20km.

Pickles was playing it cool all day when suddenly, sexy eyes.
