When we launch a new product, especially one that is so important – we always try to get some cool action shots and videos. We really wanted to feature our superstar rider, but there was one problem. Sam Pilgrim hates riding uphill! And what is enduro riding without the climbs? So we thought hard and long how to put him to work and came up with a plan – and it’s called La Grande Corsa – The Great Race!

Clearly pilgrim isn't the right one to be testing the prototypes if he doesn't even ride up the hills..

Admittedly it is not the type of riding Sam Pilgrim is known for and Slawek Lukasik was definitely contributed the more impressive parts to this video. Apart from the weird accent was quite enjoyable.

the only thing that shoulda been censored in this video was the riding because it was incredibly offensive to anyone who rides a bike...

some stellar riding and filming, but the 2+ minutes of unnecessary narration in a fake stereotypical accent is really the icing on the cake.
  • 6 5
it's like typical polish english XD

 Resembles a specialized pitch
  • 16 1
agreed. not sure if that makes me want to buy it more or less?! the pitch was an amazing bike.... so a 650b reboot with a much lower bb could be good?!
  • 58 1
Haha , nice dodge of using ' looks like a.. '
  • 7 3
I think they already knew about the bikes before getting that letter, they really didn't seem to be very surprised.

 annoying italian narrator voice.....

Looks like my Pitch, which is an amazing bike. Next year I'm shopping for a new bike with 650b and a lower bottom bracket. Trek Slash 7.

As a bonus ns have specced it right. Out of the box it comes 1x10 with a narrow wide and a 42 tooth. Anyone else doing this?
  • 6 0
I just checked the NS site and it does look like a damn good spec for the price, good job, when will other manufacturers start doing things like this?

My answer was for @j-t-g Wink

Yup , Transition does this as well on some of their new models, like the Patrol 3. I think it's a strong selling point compared to 2x10 as many people will do the conversion on a bike like this anyway, and of course at more comfortable price point than 1x11.

Not great advertising showing a tuk tuk drive up a rocky track quicker than the bike, surely they want to show how good the bike is at climbing?

 beautiful bikes, loving the marzocchi
awesome riding as always Big Grin

Sam doesn't look quite comfortable on the enduro wide bars. He must be used to narrower DJ bars.
  • 3 1
well I'll be fucked, I've been to that small town before, stayed at the hotel right on the lake for 2 nights as well! I had no clue they had some rad looking trails just up in the mountains!

hope this gets video of the month!!

Should be cheaper on crc once there in stock. I much prefer the looks and geo of the snabb over the new meta but $5000 is still abit steep for the build...

 Song from 2:14 - 3:41?
  • 6 3
 That accent :-)
  • 6 0
It sounds like Szymon, the company owner (Polish bloke) making an Impression of Italian accent in English...
  • 3 1
Sick acting Sam! Looks like a lot of fun to shoot

Personally, I would've pushed the guy in the lake after I lossed
  • 1 1
Was ready to buy then......no bottle cage mount!!
  • 1 1
 Any info on pricing?
  • 1 1
Nope. In fact no information on said bike at all. Maybe we are meant to buy the bike coz a pro made an edit lol.
  • 1 1
I know I know, click the link blah blah. Just wouldn't have hurt to tell us something about the bike.
  • 1 0
Thanks for the link. I'm a bit puzzled on the price. I think it's less bike than the new meta, yet its a grand more than the compared build.
  • 1 0
Should be cheaper on crc once there in stock. I much prefer the looks and geo of the snabb over the new meta but $5000 is still abit steep for the build...
  • 2 0
@atekt The prices on www.lamacycles.com are in Canadian dollars so for US folks take about 14% off the price to convert it to USD (as per XE.com rates as of today).

@Kezzer Granted CRC sometimes have good prices but I haven't seen any NS complete bikes at a better price on CRC than on www.lamacycles.com... but don't take my word for it Wink

 Thanks for the heads up!
