Best in Show: Crankworx Expo, Rotorua 2016

After a whirlwind five days at Crankworx Rotorua, the expo area is still sparkling. A huge part of what makes Crankworx a success is the bike companies which set up shop, year after year, and bring their creativity out to ensure the fans can learn about the sport, the product and have a great time. This year, the festival is recognizing the efforts of the companies whose activations make it all possible.

Best in show for Crankworx Rotorua 2016 goes to:

SPECIALIZED

The Specialized tent killed it for bringing the festival feel, with a foosball table and video games, for a super chill hangout space, vintage photos and Afghan rugs decking the place out '70s-style.(Photo by Clint Trahan/Crankworx)

If you wanted to hang with the Slopestyle athletes, the SRAM tent was the place to be with plenty of product, and an up-close look at the mechanics, the stars and the what happens behind the scenes.

Fox brought its A-Game with a trade-your-old-gloves-in-for-new offer, lots of athlete signings and a container to show product, rather than a tent. (Photo: Clint Trahan)

 Whatever anyone says about the expo, the winner of the week was the Zerode Taniwha.

 Other companies had flasher booths for sure, but zerode had the product that everyone wants!

 damn i wish i went to the fox tent i got about 5 old pairs

 Pissed I didn't go to the fox tent. Have so many old pairs with holes
