Welsh. Like the people of Wales (home of mountains in the south of the UK) - the Welsh. One of their national dishes. It's basically like a flatter scone (British, maybe Biscuit in the US) with raisins.

Pinkbike Poll: Who is the Unofficial Red Bull Rampage Pinkbike's Choice Winner?
Who was the real winner? Not sure. But judging by this comments section the clear loser is @scott-townes.

Szymon Godziek & Brendan Fairclough Tick Off 'The Battleship' - Red Bull Rampage 2023
Agreed. Cam Zink's 3 jumps in a row are insane, no doubt at all, but they're so much wider, buffed and 'safe'. I don't wanna encourage 'unsafety' but Brendog and Godziek's lines are so much rawer with that big mountain feeling. Even Gee's drop felt like he was using what was there a bit more, rather than just creating huge groomed kickers and landings amongst the landscape. I know Brendogs actual kicker and landing also need to be groomed, but the run in is savage AF.

Video: Winning Runs from the Les Gets DH World Cup 2023
Yeah, sorry - Richard and Cedric are lacking the combo of energy and know-how even Rob on his own brought. The racing itself is great but the commentary is underwhelming in a sport that it always added so much for me.

Nerding Out: Are More People Watching World Cup DH Racing in 2023?
@asapyohanes: Sorry, that's not right. It is my fav sport - but I've stopped watching because of the combined aspects of the commentating now being awful and the having to pay. If Warner were still commentating, I'd have paid, if he wasn't but it was free, I'd watch. That simple. I got most of the enjoyment out of the way he conveyed and accentuated the excitement, without him it's much flatter (I know because I caught the Champs and also saw some of one WC at a mate's who does pay). The magic has gone for me.

Staff Ride: Dario's Downieville Santa Cruz Tallboy
Great looking bike and dialled set up but I find the logic/methodology around the tires odd - you cite low rolling resistance as important as well as cut resistance but obvs lightweight too, so you went for EXO. But then added back in an insert (Lots of extra weight and doesn't help with cut resistance? - I'd have thought Exo+, or maybe DD without an insert, would have made more sense. (I run Exo+ with an insert). Aaaaanyway - sick bike, nice article!
