$2100 CAD2015 Lapierre Spicy 327 Small
This would make a great all-mountain/enduro bike for someone who wants to start shredding trails. Enough suspension to make it fun (160 in the front and 150 in the back) but small enough to climb well and have control going down. 27.5/650b wheels and Fox 34 float fork= fun fun!
This bike was recently serviced at the very end of last season. New brake pads, brakes bled, new rear tire, the full tune up at Dunbar bikes. I added joystick handlebars, a dropper post and serviced the forks and rear shock. Ive taken it out for one last spin and it's going to be sadly missed.
It's a 2015 but there were a couple years where I didn't ride it as I was pregnant and then a new mom. I just don't ride it as much as I used to.

$800 CADCannondale Gemini Small 15”
The bike is an incredible all-round, freeride bike as it is light enough (36 lbs.) to ride up hills and has the suspension and strength to take big hits. I love my bike but...need to try and take it slower...XC is on the horizon
-Lasered Matte Black
-Stratos 8” Forks: looks heavy but they are super light. Actually a good set-up for a lighter person as they are soft and kushy. Forks are high and rakes out the bike for ease during steep descents
-Hayes Brakes with 8” rotors and Bonz brake triggers
-5, 6, or 7” rear travel with Fox vanilla piggyback
-XTR cranks, XTR derailer and XT cassette
-Rapidfire shifters
-Thomson seat post
-Easton Scandium bars
-24 karat gold quicklink
-Maxxis minion rear and Michelin front tires
-Mavic 219 rims
-High bottom bracket so it rolls over practically everything
-Super fun bike!
