Very low mileage (60km off road), very clean. It is in perfect working order and has more than $4000 invested into it, a very rare model from Kona. Mechanic owned. Spec'd as follows. 2009 Kona Big Unit 20" racelight scandium frame (ideal for 5'10" to 6'3") Fox f29rl fork @ 100mm Fsa orbit sealed bearing headset Avid juicy 7 brakes, avid csg3 rotors 7" front/6" rear Shimano xt shifters Shimano slx triple crank 22-32-44 Shimano xt front derailleur, shimano xtr rear derailleur Xtr cassette 9sp cassette and new chain Easton monkeylite carbon bar and amoeba carbon stem Light and pretty Wellego cnc platform pedals orange anodized Set up with Easton xc one front wheel, brand new (0 km on it) stans arch/dmr 6 pawl rear wheel. Easton xc one single speed rear wheel and single speed sliding derailleur hanger also included so you can convert this to a single speed. Maxxis ardent 2.25 front tire, maxxis ignitor 2.1 rear This bike crushes climbs and is excellent in fast trails. It weighs about 25 pounds and is ready to ride. Tech Tuesday - Cup and Cone Hub Basics
I wouldn't though, their tolerances are much tighter than the tolerance of even xtr or dura ace races and at bicycle speeds we cannot take advantage of their thermal properties. Ceramic bearings will often be grade 10 or higher, but shimano doesn't polish their races past grade 25, equivalent to the grade of loose bearings they use. Use quality stainless steel grade 25 bearings for really nice hubs and grade 40 for everything else decent.

WTB Dual Duty FR Wheelset

$100 CAD
20mm front formula dh hub 135x10 rear formula dh hub (28 points of engagement, pretty loud) 15/14g double butted spokes Wheels are straight and round, no flat spots or dents, bearings feel good,. Rims suffer a couple of scuff marks and the rear wheel has a bit of spoke gouging from one broken chain incident. I have a very similar wheelset that I built for another bike that unfortunately broke, and I'd rather keep the wheels that I built...I have no need for 2 wheel sets that do the same thing. I will include the tires for 50$ (2.35 Kenda Nevegal stick-e, 2.35 Kenda Blue Groove DTC) Price is firm, thanks for looking.
