Pinkbike Podcast Episode 57: What Were the Best (and Worst) Trends in Mountain Biking?
Everyone should be testing 32's. Trek is, and i think their company wins a lot things and sells a lot of stuff, so other companies would be stupid not to have plans to not get left behind. but i wonder if we will see 30.5 / 29er mullet bikes first? I think pinkbike should pay me (or maybe someone more qualified ;) to build some test mules and and find the fastest geo and wheel size on a few different tracks. If done well it would be something that is done by many different people, different places, again and again as trails evolve. even if someone's already doing it someone else might test some small aspect better. We need the meta data. companies have no incentive to publish data, so pinkbike should do it to educate buyers to drive positive growth.
