Can young women wear 'cougar' hoodie?
  • 16 1
They can, but they need to date guys that are younger than them.

I see what you did there.

For the woman in your life who's painfully honest with herself.

No, for the younger ones they'll introduce a separate range with pictures of young pus... kittens.

It all depends how old they look.

Since when is Pinkbike affiliated with the Florida Panthers? Or did they just copy and paste their logo? Original....

Thanks to this post, I just learned that Florida actually has a hockey team. I previously only knew of the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Carolina Panthers. Pinkbike: Enlightening folks south of the 49th parallel about MTB and ice hockey.

@MJWais: Florida has 2 NHL teams....Florida Panthers and Tampa Bay Lightning.
  • 3 0
@gpowell: Holy crap, cut and paste for sure.

@gpowell: Forgive my naiveté. Since Seattle has zero NHL teams (and zero NBA teams), so those sports have completely fallen off my radar.
  • 1 0
@MJWais: If Gary Bettman gets his way Seattle may soon have an NHL team. It was very close to getting one but it went to Las Vegas.

@gpowell: There's an NHL team going to Vegas? I hope they'll use the old CFL name: Posse!

 @GSPChilliwack: Las Vegas Golden Knights

@gpowell: Florida has some of the best winter riding in the USA.

It looks rather blatant, no? At least change some of the shading and shapes... it's almost exact. Not like there isn't 1000s of stock wildcat images out there that could have been used.
  • 2 0
@robwhynot: They've roughed up the lines of the cat but it's literally the Panthers logo. I didn't think mountain bikers were that ignorant of other sports. Even my boyfriend, who doesn't watch sports, knew who the Florida Panthers were.

@gpowell: Ugh it's such a terrible name hey?

Florida just has so much great riding that you all know nothing about. Pinkbike just could not resist using our logo.

@freeinpg: Florida Panthers? I don't know, I don't mind it. I've been watching hockey for years so it's pretty regular to me. I appear to be the only person on here who actually has interests in other sports.

Unless you were talking about the LV Golden Knights. That's a terrible name. What a mouthful.

 Ridemountain shirt is hype

Forgive my naivety on American matters but what does the snarling cat represent? It confuses me and makes me think of garments from Holister, superdry and Primark
  • 2 0
Yeah, who'd want to pet a feral cat? I don't get it either.

Google 'Florida Panthers'. It's an NHL hockey team. It appears Pinkbike has just completely stolen the logo and put it on their apparel and are calling it a cougar. Pinkbike is based out of BC, which has cougars...so I guess it makes sense? I have no idea how it's related to anything bikes though. All I can see is the Florida Panthers logo.

@gpowell: While we're at it, I get why Canada does hockey, but Florida? And I've never understood what these various animals have to do with sports anyway. But that's just nitpicking, isn't it?

Confused why pink bike would add a panther to all of their clothing in the first place... But copying a professional sports-team's logo makes this decision especially odd. Oh well, maybe I'm missing something.

 "Women's Apparel" = Unisex cuts
  • 4 0
 Image was fixed, thanks.

There is a women's specific shirt with smaller sizes for the "unisex" cuts for women and men.
  • 2 0
@KimBrennan: What about XS sizing for women?
  • 1 0
@spillypants: There is XS sizing for the women specific and unisex items offered. Smile

 Dear Pinkbike:
Please don't call it a "beanie", in Canada we call it a Toque.
  • 3 2
Dad hats? You could have sick and simple hats at a low cost and high return.
  • 2 1
Hey @SpinningAddiction - These are flat brim, snapback 6 panel Pukka hats - definitely not "dad hats" -they're sweet!
  • 4 0
@KimBrennan: hes saying pinkbike should have dadhats. theyre currently the biggest fad right now (not an insult, i have a growing collection haha) and pinkbike would make a slaughter off them (maybe).

flat brims, snapbacks, even 5-panels are passé (right now, at least).
  • 1 0
@jaycubzz: I agree. Make a simple dadhat that just says "pinkbike" on it faded letters. No need to slap an exotic cat on there. Flat brims are going out quick.

 @KimBrennan: What they've said^
