Once again the announcing of names was an embarrassment. Not saying Joost's name correctly was just horrible to listen to. These are meant to be professional announcers getting paid to do a job. Where is the research and preparation being put in before events with writing a couple of key notes about bigger named competitors? You guy's could learn a lot from some NZ sports commentators with some research and prep time thrown in before events.
I know it's Crankworx and everyone is there to have a good time but if you want yourselves to be taken seriously then it's time to grow up in some areas Crankworx.
Neg prop all you want but some of the stuff I've heard has been no better than the shambles that was Rampage last year.
Yeah men, i just dont understand why everyone is using suspension forks, like, even if the suspension is really stiff, stil its not better than a rigid one :/
They're either being paid to, or they've bought into the marketing. I mean, "Rockshox Pumptrack Challenge". That's like a razor company sponsoring a beard contest. The mtb industry doesn't want you to have an inexpensive durable bike that works better than the overpriced, heavy, fragile gadgetry they're peddling.
Most of them are just using their DJ bikes and don't own a rigid fork. Sarah is a top BMX racer (Olympic silver) and probably uses that bike for training.
