Adrien Loron was on it from the start of the Pump Track challenge. Round one saw him sweep the Klunk master Lars Sternberg.
Adrien Loron.
Upsets seemed to be the call for the day. Mike Day of BMX legend was one of many racers wiped out in the early rounds. Although he clearly has the upper hand in this round.
Emilien Chiron and Mick Hannah tear down the straight.
Sik Mik may be racing, but coming so soon on the heels of his injury, one has to wonder if he's fully recovered yet, as he, too, was swept out fairly early in the Pump Track Challenge.
Brendog was not one of the favoured riders to wash out early, but it was definitely tight racing for the Scott rider.
Klunk master Lars Sternberg rode on a 21st century steed for the Pumptrack Challenge.
Nate Berkheimer charged and about to pop veins. His BMX roots gave him a big advantage here, but he made a mistake and got knocked out of the first rounds.

Was Anneke Beerten on her 29 for this event? If so I think it`s pretty awesome she seems to be doing all the events on one bike (enduro, air dh, Garbonzo DH, whip offs, pump track)!
I never said it will replace the 26 just that it works, some people think 29ers are unridable and thats not true it not as fun as 26 but its a bike and it works that good that you can have fun on it
Neither did I but I only said not as well to imply that you are correct and that your statement 'does work pretty good' was fair, yet you got negged. Which I thought was daft. I agree with you, I play with the idea of 'it's just different'. Unless it was a race and then I'm sure you'd agree on wanting smaller wheels.
Oh okey i thought you meant the other way around sorry all these crankworx live streams are slowly killing me by not letting me sleep and i might have rode my bike a but too much today. And well depends on the race if its on a pump track the smaller will be better but if you race xc particularly here in sweden i think 29 is faster, feels faster at least but thats what you get when you sacrifice the playfulness i guess haha
I attendned the UPTC in 2013 and it was some of the most entertaining and tightest racing I've seen. A masterclass in style, speed, power and precision.
Either I'm way out of touch with what's available or I'm the first person to wonder what Maes is racing on, against bearclaw. Happy with either outcome.
Do riders at this level actually brake in a course like this?
