Greg Callaghan in 8th. Unreal result. Dan Wolfe with 4th fastest time on final stage. The speed is there. Great to see the Irish lads doing well when the terrain is more familiar.
Looks like graves is still in good position for the overall series. He was quite far behind in stage 1, fall, just conditions? Looks like he needs some dry dirt!
I wasn't able to go but the trails were pretty wet and muddy on stage 1. It's possible he didn't quite realise what was coming and had to readjust for the second day. The hills aren't big but some of those trails are extremely steep, muddy, rooty, off camber and not something I'd want to have to race on!
Some of the stage 2 trails are more weather resistant so that would help.
everything had dried out a fair bit for saturday (was a start marshal on 2), one had a few injuries appearing, was just lloose all the other stages didnt have any major problems, they just not man enough for it
Hahaha, I can't comment, I'm yet to properly ride these trails. Need to find someone to show me round.
Day 2 definitely looks quicker from the footage and judging from what I have ridden at GT and Inners maybe it was the technical stuff (and not being man enough ) that caused a few people problems there.
Great result for CUNNINGHAM, borrowed a bike the day before practice and finished 16th!! Is he the only GB rider to ever win a round of the world enduro series?
Good to see DH pros giving it a go, and a Great job Peaty!
