Looked fine on my phone, keep it up lads!
  • 2 4
a potato, previously used by a troll as a pipe, with a bit of carrot for a microphone.
  • 2 2
Isn't it just that you have a turd internet connection?

 ... but its true!
  • 12 1
 Quality was f'ing terrible!
  • 13 2
 "720p" yeah right...
  • 19 2
The problem's not the camera, drift has pretty good quality. It's youtube that sucks.
  • 6 2
it has nothing to do with the cam it cause you have to compress the fuck out of it to fit it on youtube. It's more on the person editing the video then the cam. But i will agree the gpro is better
  • 5 2
Also the track is rough as balls so that doesn't help.

If the problem is not the cam quality, then everyone at drift must be pretty stupid to let Peaty continue like this. Can't be that hard to help Peaty make the changes necessary to show what this cam can actually do. And lets face it, right now Peatys helmet cam runs are the best of ads for Gopro, but surely not for drift.

"f*cking hell, fancy trying to fit through there!?" hahaha
  • 13 1
 thanks for the interpretation!

Anyone else amazed how fast ratty lost peaty on the top section! Cos lets face it peaty isnt slow
  • 2 0
sure he was freaking fast there!
  • 2 0
Rat checked out on Peaty up top...and had a much faster line through that one rock section near the end as well.

The intro with Ratboy saying here we are at World Champs 2017 just getting ready to drop in and then going into a jump line; Is that a pretty clear statement by the riders that they want technical gnarly tracks or is that just the top of the trail before the start gate? Either way I hope UCI doesn't keep moving towards bike park tracks.
  • 5 1
Its no secret all the riders prefer steep gnarly natural DH. I think that Hafjell is better then most though. Atleast its steep, fast, has lots of rocks, has good turns, and there isn't much pedalling.

Im not sure what he was on about with the whole 2017 bit?
  • 3 0
No that part is literally on the way to the start hut. That isn't part of the race track. When he says jump line he's referring to to run in to the start hut. See Claudio's 2013 course preview for evidence as he rides it and talks about it.

The big wooden jump at the end is blatantly there just for a photo op and to give the crowd something to see. Keep it natural!

He's just taking the piss....yanks don't really get british humour... (Queue neg props
  • 15 0
I love how Ratboy falls and takes the piss out of himself.
  • 2 0
and so quickly at that, could never figure out how Northerners are always so insanely quick with the jokes
  • 9 0
I am so used to Claudio's helmet cam videos that I almost hate music in these videos
  • 2 0
Yeah I wanna hear the bike pinging off rocks etc.
  • 2 5
Instead they should put a huge moto whoop section 100 yards before the finish line to really mix things up. Like PMB, but at the finish. That should give the fans plenty to enjoy as people go over the bars left and right.
  • 16 0
yeah, and there should be a rythm section, and a pump track bit, and a really long pedal sprint and a bouncy castle and then a lake jump at the end. that would be loads of fun for the spectators. Or..... they could just have roots, rocks and corners and make it steep as hell. cos its a fucking dh track.
  • 2 1
Yea I was trying to infer sarcasm in my comment as well. Geez someone busted a spoke
  • 6 0
yeah man. I was joining in the sarcasm. No offence meant. Sometimes its hard to tell what people are getting at on forums without the gratuitous use of emoticons Razz Glad you are part of the Keep It Natural Brigade too.
  • 9 0
and not a pedal stroke was seen
  • 12 0
 ...that day.
  • 9 2
Did ratboy just hit the G-spot? Big Grin
  • 1 0
 Rat-spot uahahaha
  • 6 0
I know it was just a casual run, but check out how he just pulls away from Peaty... The rat is in ominous form!
  • 1 0
wow, that top part is incredibly bike parky, and yet everybody loves it, i allways find it confusing the way riders on one hand say they want real natural courses like Meribel, val di sole etc. Yet they all love this course thats about as unnatural as it gets.

Slow down Ratty, we can't keep up!
  • 3 0
Ratboy ripper! Peaty the legend! Gnarly, fun track. Looking forward to the race!! Good luck team GB.
  • 2 0
that really bothers me. seriously, how is it that claudio & co always deliver near perfect footage but peatys pretty much looks like any random amateurs home-trail vid?
  • 4 1
this is a very good track for ratboy isn't it?
  • 2 0
Yeah. If he keeps the rubber side down, he's gonna win.
  • 3 0
I've a Drift Ghost and it's fantastic for quality apart from YouTube!
  • 1 0
just compare peaty's cam shots and go pro riders cam shots, you will see the difference. nothing about youtube, it's just a question on image stabilizer ;-)
  • 1 0
are these guys running their race lines when they film this POV stuff?
